Buying and Selling

We take pride and joy in it, to find that special instrument that fits your taste. We travel around the world to find the best instruments for our collection. Our artistic director, Radboud Van Geldre, himself a concertviolonist, is personally responsible for allowing only the best sounding instruments and bows to our atelier.

In our we have a wide range of special instruments; from study instruments to violins from the hand of well known italian violinmakers like Gennaro Gagliano, Carlo Tononi, and fine french bowmakers as Dominique Peccatte, Joseph Henri, Pierre Simon, among others.

We also have a selection of contemporary instruments; among them violins made by Matthieu Besseling, who has his workshop in the same building as our atelier at the Keizersgracht since 1980.

Workshop

In our workshop, we are specialized in sound adjustment, to get the best possible playing experience for you. Radboud van Geldre, already many decades active in regulating violins, was trained by Matthieu Besseling. Radboud, himself a practicing Violiniste, is always committed to find the best possible setup for an instrument.
